Tonight at 6PM, President Donald Trump will be addressing the RNC delegates on the final night of the 2024 RNC convention.

Yesterday’s theme at the Republican National Convention was Make American Strong Again. Many speakers made prime time addresses.
The most moving segment to me was the 13 Gold Star Families who lost a son or daughter on the day American abandoned Afghanistan. It was pointed out that President Biden did not meet with these families nor mentions their loss on the ignominious day.
In contrast, Donald Trump invited them to a reception at his Bedminster Golf Club in New Jersey. They were supposed to meet for one hour but Trump stayed for six hours and met with each of the parents.
One father read the names of the 13 men and women one-by-one and the crowd chanted them back. Here they are for you:

98-year old D-Day veteran Sergeant William Pekrul addressed the audience. He told the audience that “America is still worth fighting for.” The crowd went wild when he announced, “If Donald Trump becomes our Commander in Chief again, I’ll re-enlist again and charge any beach he’s say to charge.”
Vice Presidential nominee and Senator J.D. Vance made his acceptance speech. He was introduced by his wife Usha Vance. When Vance introduced his mom as being “ten years clean and sober.” The crowd started chanting, “JD’s Mom.” His speech was 35 minutes long. You can watch it here:
Meanwhile powerful Democrats such as former president Barrak Obama, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are reported to be working behind the scenes to undermine President Biden’s reelection efforts.
Earlier this week, Biden said that he would reconsider his reelection quest if a health matter was raised by a medical doctor. Now he’s announced his diagnosis of COVID so he’s cancelled appearances and being isolated.
As one unnamed Democrat put it, Trump gets hit by a bullet and keeps going. Biden gets stopped by COVOD. Yup.
Today, Mark Halperin has a breaking report from Milwaukie at the RNC convention. He is reporting that President Joe Biden will drop out of the presidential race this weekend and most likely on Sunday.
