The Great Displacement: What are the Future Jobs For Our Students?

By Douglas Marolla

We are seeing that things have gone horribly wrong with the grift and the graft within government programs. It looks like the DOGE Committee is going to turn their attention to the federal Department of Education. The DOE needs to be closed. The United States is 40th out of 40 of first world countries in education and if it is dead last, which it is, why do you have a federal department of education? Obviously it doesn’t need to be reformed.

It needs to be removed and shut down.

We are seeing the same thing with USAID, the Social Security Administration, and a host of other government departments. If your local sports team were as ineffective and wasteful as these entities, people would be screaming from the rooftops. Instead the politicians who benefit from this corrupt, dishonest graft are deflecting and going on emotional rants.

People are wondering, justifiably, how did all of this information come about? Where are all of these numbers coming from, and how are they getting out there so quickly? Notice the lizard-like graft ridden multi-millionaire, multiple house owning politicians screaming about DOGE, or RFK Jr. bankrupting big pharma, or “stealing your personal information”. This is where your basic critical thinker stops and wonders why they’re shouting about your “personal information”.

Why aren’t they saying that the fraudulent findings in social security are wrong?

Notice, they’re not complaining about how the findings are incorrect. They’re yelling that your personal information is going to be stolen by Elon Musk. See how this works? They’ve isolated and personalized it. It’s a strategy any critical thinker can see through immediately.

This is the kind of thinking that you need to teach your teenagers.

But getting back to the data, and the speed its been produced for public consumption.

This is something unique and new.

Here is the checklist for the old, slow, way:

  1. When government waste, fraud and abuse gets uncovered, act offended.
  2. Create a bipartisan committee.
  3. Have the committee analyze the data for about a year.
  4. Have an old, dusty, accounting firm like Deloitte go over the books and the audit them for about 2 years.
  5. Produce a 750 page report, using 9pt font, years later, that no one reads.
  6. Mission accomplished, corruption and payoffs continue unfettered.

Things have changed, and this administration is moving quickly. They’ve gone through the federal government’s huge databases and terabytes of information and found things that don’t make sense. Think of it this way: the jobs of people who formerly would be trained in analyzing the books are no longer necessary.

Here’s the checklist for the new way:

  1. Get a few young people who understand programming, AI, and software
  2. Unleash them into the databases, uncover obvious fraud – takes 3 days.
  3. Hit “send”.
  4. Mission accomplished.

The people in the old way are obsolete. They will be displaced.

Needed are quick thinking young adults who are willing to deal with uncomfortable information from government. You’ve got to have a young person who doesn’t think government is God. Our young people understand that gov’t is fallible, broken and inefficient. You need people to ask AI the right questions. You need young people to know how AI works.

Instead of an ineffective 2 – 5 year process, DOGE has uncovered more information in the past 3 weeks than I’ve heard of in my entire life. It’s in this world that we need to prepare our young people to operate.

Have them go into something, if they’re technologically inclined, something related to programming or computer engineering. The monster-sized server farms that are necessary to run the technology need technicians. The energy component / physical aspect of cloud computing and AI – and they need qualified workers.

Rote forensic accounting, tax audits, bookwork, and compliance can all be done using AI. You wouldn’t train your teenager to repair typewriters, would you?

Department of Education

The last point here is about the Department of Education. The federal Department of Education, I told a friend of mine, could disappear tomorrow and nobody in the teaching game and the school business would know. Nobody would know because it has no bearing on anything other than who gets money.

It just hands out money to people that it approves of. That’s it. No one needs a federal Department of Education. Especially with taxpayer monies being distributed in an unfair manner.

DOGE Reveals Unfairness

Lastly, this video explains why people are so upset, and why DOGE is getting so much traction. They are (rapidly) exposing the rank unfairness of these broken, corrupt institutions. This is the best explanation as to why Johnny and Suzy American are upset, and on the same side as Trump and Musk:
