Tigard, OR – Mike Erickson, a successful Tigard businessman and candidate for Oregon’s 6th Congressional District, released a Cygnal poll showing him tied with Congresswoman Andrea Salinas on the initial ballot.
According to the initial ballot test, Salinas has 44%, Erickson has 42%, and 14% are undecided, with a margin of error of ±4.29%.
In 2022, this was one of the closest races in the country, and the difference was just 7,210 votes or 2.5 points, which separated Congresswoman Salinas and Erickson. Additionally, a third-party Constitution Party candidate ran two years ago, received 6,762 votes. No Constitution candidate is running in this race in 2024.
“Congresswoman Salinas has done little to address inflation, rising energy costs, and crime in our cities, and it’s no wonder this race is tied,” said Oregon businessman and congressional candidate Mike Erickson. “This poll proves that we can win, and as a businessman who has created jobs in Oregon, I know what it takes to fix inflation, keep our communities safe, secure our border, and serve as check-and-balance on Kamala Harris’ economic policies that are crippling middle-class families.”
