Trump’s speech was just over an hour and a half and possibly the longest presidential nomination acceptance speech ever. Trump became the first Republican to receive three consecutive presidential nominations. Only Republican President Richard Nixon previously received three presidential nominations: 1960, 1968 and 1972.
His speech had 3 main parts: the assassination attempt, a call for national unity and his vision for his second term as President.
