Tonight’s debate pits Ohio Senator JD Vance against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the third and likely final debate of this presidential election cycle.
Following former President Donald Trump’s debate with President Joe Biden, he debated Vice President Kamala Harris who everybody thought would be debating Trump’s VP nominee.
Nope, Harris is at the top of the ticket now so tonight we see the two vice presidential candidates.
Historically, vice presidents do very little in office except to be ready to step in the event the President becomes incapacitated, dies, or is otherwise unable to serve as president.
Which makes me wonder why Biden got pushed off the ticket but not pushed out of the White House under the 25th Amendment. Harris could be running as president now and managing things as the Middle East blows up in a regional war.
Oh well, let’s get back to the debate. It begins at 6PM Oregon time and is on CBS and streamed online at the usual places. Such as Fox News:
Last time, many thought that someone at ABC gave Harris the debate questions. There was a sworn affidavit to that effect. Nothing came from it.
To remove any questions about the questions, the Trump campaign today provided questions to tonight’s debate.

- Why have you visited China so many times, including on Chinese government-funded trips? House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer just presented evidence that DHS staffers have “serious concerns” about your China ties. Have you ever taken direction from the Chinese government?
- Why did you falsely claim you carried a weapon in war?
- Men who served with you in the National Guard say you abandoned your unit. Why did you abandon them before the deployment to Iraq?
- Do you still support single-payer healthcare? Why should Americans have to lose their private health insurance plan?
- You listened to the demands of the violent rioters and supported “alternatives to policing.” Do you agree with Kamala Harris that the police should be defunded?
- You’re infamously known as Tampon Tim. Why do you think that boys’ bathrooms should have tampons? Do you think boys can get periods?
- You’ve given free college tuition to illegal immigrants in Minnesota. Do you think illegal immigrants nationwide should get free college?
- You’ve said there is “no guarantee to free speech.” Why don’t you support the First Amendment?
