With four months to the 2024 presidential election, the choice is muddy but getting clearer with each passing day.
President Joe Biden’s promise of “Build Back Better” morphed into the United States becoming a banana republic that can’t grow bananas.
Banana republics are known for prosecuting and imprisoning political opponents.
Biden’s Department of Justice worked with state and local district attorneys to coordinate legal attacks on his No. 1 political opponent, Donald Trump, for alleged crimes done as president or years before. All cases timed to interfere with this year’s campaign season.
These legal attacks did not stop Trump or cause him to drop out. Instead, his poll numbers and fundraising continue to rise. Yet these legal attacks set a terrible precedent that could affect who will run for president or serve a president in the future.
Yet even banana republic leaders avoid a massive inflow of illegal aliens who explode welfare costs and compete with citizens for housing and jobs.
What is muddy about this election?
The main issue is whether or not President Biden is mentally and physically strong enough for the most demanding job in the United States.
Too many cringeworthy public appearances on the world stage to count. For example, News coverage of the 80th year since D-Day was dominated by Biden, overshadowing the brave deeds of American heroes.
President Biden is the commander in chief of the United States. He directs our armed forces. He controls the codes to our national nuclear arsenal. Yet he doesn’t seem fit enough to babysit his grandkids. Would you let him babysit your kids or grandkids?
Biden’s declining health made a shambles of Democrat plans to push for his reelection rather than let him retire and hold a primary race to gain a strong candidate to oppose Trump.
Can Joe Biden be replaced at this late date? Seems doubtful, though the Biden-Trump debate on June 27 might be a setup to bring down Biden. We’ll see what happens.
What’s clear about this election is the readiness of the nation’s 45th president to become our 47th president.
When not bogged down in a courtroom, Trump jets across the nation for campaign rallies with tens of thousands in attendance. His America First message of a better economy, a stronger America and protecting our borders appeals to Americans everywhere.
Yet Trump’s speeches are not empty promises of a presidential hopeful. Trump has four years of experience as president to build on. He won’t be a rookie president. America’s challenges are great, and we need a strong leader to lead the charge.
Let’s help reelect President Trump to another four years.
